Awareness raising workshop in Bangladesh on safe migration

Cumilla, Bangladesh: An awareness workshop on safe migration was held on 9th September in Cumilla to create awareness among the public on the steps to follow when considering migration and what to avoid.

Union Parishad Chairman Alhaj Md. Sekender Ali and Heads of Educational Institutions, Journalists, Madrasa Teachers, Imams, Union Council Members and Local Leaders attended this workshop on increasing transparency and accountability in foreign employment.

Our Migrant Resource Centre (MRC) in Bangladesh is funded by the European Union and Switzerland, and activities are implemented by ICMPD in close cooperation with national and local authorities.
