Description: During the period (2014-2016) the meetings of this Working Group are held in support of the project “Support to the Silk Routes Partnership for Migration under the Budapest Process”. The Working Group will in this period deal with the six thematic priority areas established through the Istanbul Ministerial Declaration on a Silk Routes Partnership for Migration. This meeting dealt with the first priority area namely Migration and Mobility, more specifically labour migration and protection of migrant workers. The purpose was – through exchange of information, experience, best practices and know-how – to establish priorities for implementation of the Silk Routes Partnership in this field. The meeting was also used to take stock of progress of the abovementioned project and developments in the Silk Routes countries.
