The Budapest Process is funded by the European Union (EU) and bilateral contributions. Bilateral donors in the recent years include Australia, Finland, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland and Türkiye.
For 2024, the European Union (DG HOME) is the major donor to the dialogue along with Australia, Finland, Hungary, Norway, Switzerland and Türkiye.
